Specialized Driver Training
Pioneer's Specialized Driver Training Program was developed for clients with some driving challenges that requires specialize in-car training with a Certified Driving Instructor.
To achieve the mobility and independence that driving can bring, collaborate with our team of driving rehabilitation specialists / instructors. Your pathway to driving starts with an Initial Evaluation with our Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist (CDRS).
Pioneer can determine if you have the cognitive ability to drive a vehicle and provide in-car driver training.
We can assist clients with some disabilities and driving limitations; especially, those drivers who are returning to driving following an injury or illness, such as stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, spinal bifida, multiple sclerosis, amputation, cerebral palsy, and other limitations.
We can provide in-car training to clients with some neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and differential diagnosis, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other disorders.

Driver Rehab Fitness-To-Drive & Return-to-Driving Evaluation
Driving involves a complex and rapidly changing cycle that requires a level of skill and the ability to interact simultaneously with both the vehicle and the external environment. Given these requirements, it follows that many body systems needs to be functioning for safe driving. Aging, injury, or disease may affect one's ability to drive safely. Pioneer Certified Driver Rehab Specialist can determine if you or your love ones are mentally and physically fit-to-drive and return-to-driving after a long layoff from driving.
